Nyela Allen

Hey there! My name is Nyela and I'm a recent graduate from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Game Development. I started my game dev journey my freshman year of college when I joined my school's video game development club to learn all that I can about the industry. Since then, my love for game dev has grown exponentially.

 

What I love most about game dev is the ability to tell your story through an interactive experience to the point that the player feels fully immersed in the world you've made. From completing multiple group projects and game jams I've learned that I love leading and planning things out which has led to my interest in Production-related roles. I strive to empower my team members to produce their best work through empathetic leadership. My hobbies include sketching, watching anime/animations, and learning Japanese.
